Merry Christmas!

To all, a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas

Sharing with you a song for the Season, sung by the a cappella group Pentatonix.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?

Mary, did you know
that your baby boy will calm the storm with His hand?

Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?

Mary did you know.. Mary did you know

The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?

Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you’re holding is the Great, I Am.

  1. Arti,
Merry Xmas to you and family.
I do have a gripe with you. Ever since you went on that wonderful fall trip to the New England states, I have this Barry Manilo song in my head (Weekend in New England, I think it’s the name) and I can’t get rid of it. I hum it all the time. Luckily, my mom can’t hear well. But it’s getting on my wife’s nerves.

    1. Bob,

Ha! So glad to hear my New England road trip can have so much impact on someone! You know what, just go to YouTube and find the original of that song sung by BM himself as a replacement, I’m sure your wife would love it. 🙂 Merry Christmas to you and your family too!

  2. Merry, Merry, my friend. A beautiful photo, an equally beautiful video and best of all, another year to celebrate friendship. Speaking of which, thank you and more on that later! Have a lovely day!

  3. Merry Christmas, Arti, and thanks for the introduction to such a fine song, and a fine group. I’m off to a Christmas dinner with friends in Houston, but will be home tonight, and have my film fest lined up — all of the traditional Christmas favorites. Christmas night is such a satisfying time — I hope your day and night are blessed and peaceful.

  4. A Merry Christmas, dear Arti, and my apologies for being a deplorable commenter of late. Well, for most of 2015. Lots of drama in the house…

I love that song! I wanted to buy an album with it, and couldn’t find it; perhaps I will just have to buy the single for my iPhone.

Have a blessed New Year’s Eve! xoxoxo
